Grief Resources for Kids

Older children may need more than storybooks to understand grief and death.  The resources I've created are intended to gently teach children some ways to grieve and what the Bible says about grief.

These Grief Journal pages include a reminder about grief, a Bible quote about grief and two open-ended writing prompts to help them think about a new reality without their loved one with a hopeful tone.

 Grief Game.

Kids like to open up when they're having fun. This is a simple game designed to get them talking about their grief. It offers ideas for positive grief activities, too. Add your email address in the prompt below, check your inbox and download the file. Print and cut out the action cards and points tokens. Use a button or game piece and dice from another game to play.
